REVIEW: Saw 3D

B+

Review by Peter Ricci – Flix|Critic

Saw 3D doesn’t disappoint in the gore department. Once again the creators of the film has taken it to the limit and spared no expense on disgust, vulgar, and out right blood splatter death sequences. If you are a fan of ‘Torture Porn” then Saw 3D is up your ally. The blood hurdling scenes in the new installment had me gagging; even turning my head as moment were revolting and purely horrific.

So let’s score Saw 3D:

  • Story                                        = GOOD
  • Acting                                      = GOOD
  • Fear Factor                            = VERY GOOD
  • Gore                                          = EXCELLENT
  • Intensity                                 = EXCELLENT
  • Time Worthy                          = 4

Saw 3D take you full circle in a terrifying array of events completing the puzzle. The masterpiece may be set for final installment, but it can easily be rejuvenated into another sequel of the historical horror film franchise.

INSIDER: ‘The Rite’ Will Make You Believe Evil Exsists!!!

There’s a new movie is coming out in 2011 that will scare the pants off you starring: Anthony Hopkins, Rutger Hauer, Colin O’Donoghue, Alice Braga, Ciaran Hinds and Toby Jones.

It’s coming to you from Newline Cinemas and is sure to be The Exorcist for a new generation. The movie is superb and quiet surprising. Hopkins once again gives audiences what they love best, to FEAR him!

Not since his version of Hannibal Lector has Hopkins made my spine tingled and covered my arms in goosebumps until i watched this film. The film is about an American priest who travels to Italy to study a new course for graduate priests. He begins his courses at the Vatican in Vatican City, but is school by a retired priest who gives him on-hand lesson in the world of exorcism.  The film asks you, do you believe or are you a skeptic? I think after you see this film, you’ll believe!

I am NOT going to say much as this film is not yet released. It is set for release January,  28, 2011.  [ First Look – trailer inside]
