CELEB INTERVIEW: “The Tempest” Is More The Just Creative Bliss

Interview – Flix|Critic/via Campus Cirlce

Have you seen Helen Miren in “The Tempest” yet? It’s a limited release, which came out on December 10th  2010. Campus Circle’s Melinda Sue Gordon had a one on one with the Oscar-winning star and cast to talk about the movie. “The Tempest” was William Shakespeare’s final works and now creative genius Julie Taymor infuses this legendary tale with her wildly imaginative and dynamic touch.

If you are a fan of Shakespeare, then this film is a must see this holiday season. It’s not your typical Shakespearian style film, this is one you can understand and you won’t ask yourself continually, what are they trying to say? Taymor has the magic touch and does a creative way of helping audiences understand William’s works, but if you ever get a chance to take a Shakespeare class it is one you’ll never forget. – [Trailer inside]
